The Unova League Coat of Armsby *technofortomcats

Another Pokemon themed Coat of Arms (these are super fun to do)

I got requested a lot of times to do a spin on the 'United States of America' coat of arms, especially considering a lot of the new Black and White games scenery and Pokemon are based on North American animals and cities.

The main eagle is now a Braviary* and I wanted to keep the right talon full of arrows to symbolise power and might, but replace the olive branch with an Oran berry Branch ;D
The shield is a beveled version of the symbol used in the games to represent the Pokemon league. I kept it simple to offset the shaded detail.

The ribbon reads Truth/Ideals since that's the main dynamic for Black/White.

The top seal was tricky. In the real CoA, it has 'a constellation of thirteen stars to represent the 13 British Colonies' but I wanted something a bit more Pokemon related. Somone on twitter suggested an idea based on the 'Eye of Providence' (aka the Pyramid/eye image on the USD) and combine it with Sigilyph* and the ruins.

it was both fun and frustrating to do all the fiddely shading, but I think it works for this particular seal as opposed to the clean lifework of the more european ones. Not 100% happy with the typesetting, but I can't seem to find a happy middle ground.

I always thought Wargle would be a perfect substitute for the American eagle, and now that I think about it, I can't think of anywhere Symbolar belongs more than on a coat of arms.

You did an amazing job with the "fiddly" shading, too.

Very very good. Only thing bugging me is the odd-seeming angle the design on the chest shield is at. Having the two different diagonals just seems jarring, for some reason
