I kinda needed a little 'splash' image for my website (down for re design) and decided a really loose kind of coat of arms was in order.
I picked lions as the supporting beasts (facing outward, kind of a defiance of tradition in a way) The F-14's 'mascot' was a two tailed male cat, so I fiddled with some designs.
The shield design was a bit of a flub for me. Usually things don't pop out of the confines of the shield, but I kind of like the powerful effect having the wings and nosecone popping out.
The F-14 schematic was done by
On top of the knight, I picked a Fleur de lice (seeing as I descended from a French family on my father's side) and wings to represent planes and other winged things I liked to draw.
Big thanks go to for a helpful critique.

I'm not too good at designing Coat of Arms that are proper in the true sense of them, but it certainly is fun and great practice in pricing together different things.
Nice design I'm finding the plane really, REALLY sticks out, I think because it's this BLATANTLY OBVIOUS MECHANICAL THING on top of a lot of stylised flowing lines. Pulls the eye to it. I like the outward facing lions. Considering the watermark/logo thingi you like to use, it fits in very well with your theme
