In his legendary quest to slay Zeus and gain his revenge for the cruel acts of the gods, Kratos encountered a titan among gods and monsters; Arceus. It's gleaming gold armour and snow white flesh beheld a majestic sight. But Kratos did not care. Gods, Titans or monsters, they would all die by his blade! Arceus screamed it's rage to the skies and the heavens unleashed a mighty roar as the God of War slew the Alpha being
I love crossovers and I love video game mashups! This is a mix-up of God of War (Playstation 2 and 3) with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Ironic I finish this just as the new Pokemon games come out. The end of an are and the beginning of a new one.
I loved God of War I, II and III. Amazing visuals and a fantastic imagining of ancient greek mythology.
And of course I'm a huge Pokemon fan. Gen IV was my favourite until Pokemon Black and White showed up.
So the new God of War, Kratos takes on the God of Pokemon, Arceus! I'm sorry Arceus, you are my favourite Pokemon, but I don't think you are getting out of this battle alive. Kratos is a monster among gods and men.
Stylistically, I was going for a really polished and painterly look while maintaining my usual scribbley style. I also tweaked Arceus' design to better mesh the two video game series together. Arceus' side fluff was replaced with golden armour plates and his 'booties' are ceramic bracers. Kratos took a stab at one, ooops. His mandala is a bit more organic and knotted as well. The background is a nod to Boris Vallejo. I love his backgrounds and how he paints mountains.
The real question is, Kratos takes a weapon from his victims (poor Helios especially!) so what would he take from Arceus? His jeweled mandala? Golden Armour? His Multi-plates?
Rated Mature for the gore. Kratos is a bad Pokemon trainer.
Is he gonna kill every single god of all mythologies AND fictional universes? I've heard that there are 330 MILLIONS Hindu gods. It's going to take forever, FOREVER! They are next:
