Something I've been working on and off for the past month.
I uploaded a snippet here, but the whole artwork got re-done since then.

I'm not really sure where I got my inspiration from, but I've been dying to do a 'kick-ass' Inspector Gadget fanart and why not combine two of my favourite cartoons;
Inspector Gadget and
Transformers!
I'm actually surprised I haven't seen this mash up before. Dr Claw does seem the type to work for the Decepticons.

So, the good Inspector is locked in a fight with Ravage who seems to have teamed up with MAD! Despite a size disadvantage, Gadget is confident he can best the giant robotic feline. No Penny or Brain to help out this time, it's just one on one.
(about the gun, since people asked during the WIP stage: In the various cartoons he's starred in, yes, he has got a gun. Several actually. Plus a missile launcher, bazooka, rockets and lasers. Also; he's a cop/Interpol. That's my reasoning at least. ;D)
I decided on a 'movie/Prime' style of Ravage, mostly as an excuse to draw horrible faces and teeth. I had a lot of trouble with Gadget, I'm not really great at people, let alone translating cartoon features to a more 'romantic' style. I'm not 100% happy with it, but live and learn! You have to start...or continue to practice somewhere.

I'm also trying to expand my digital painting skills. For years I've never used layers or masks and this was a good chance to play around with masks, especially when layering the metal plates and robotic limbs.
So I learned a lot and had a ton of fun drawing this. <3 Still have a long way to go.

The bazooka would probably be slightly more helpful at this stage. I love the way you did his arms! And how they're wrapped up in the fight there. Guessing the fight is still in early stages as they're both still looking pretty easy going and clean and unless they break off early it's not going to end prettily
But given a moment fo reflection this is pretty cool. I keep
hearing his nasally voice in my head and it gives me fits
of giggles. XD Great work, Kim!
